The Type To Filter search option is super useful, but you are not limited to just the default fields that show up on the list page. If you want to search based on additional fields, then all you need to do is add them to the search criteria and then start searching.

No data is able to hide from you now.

You all probably know how to change the company through the breadcrumb bar, but you can also change the company through the charm on the status bar. This option also gives you the ability to create a new workspace for the new company as well, just in case you need to have them both open at once.

When you rerun a report, there is a small chance that you will get slightly different report, because flags have been changed, or the report has been modified. A lot of the time you are not just working on one record at a time, you are processing batches of records. For example, you may be releasing multiple orders to picking, confirming multiple purchase orders, or printing multiple order confirmations. Dynamics AX makes this easy as pie to do because a lot of the time, you can use the multiple selection option to choose the records that you want to perform the same action on, and then it will work through them one at a time so that you don’t have to.

Say goodbye to being stuck in the Groundhog Day equivalent of single record processing.

For the latter group, don’t worry, you can navigate through Dynamics AX just as quickly with the keyboard.

With combo keys at your disposal you will be kicking butt like Ken & Ryu.
